(ii) Howard Carter’s investigation was resented.
Answer:- Howard Carter’s investigation was resented because he used unethical and unscientific techniques. He was more interested in the treasure than to the cultural and historical aspects. King Tut’s body was gravely damaged in an attempt to extract it from the golden coffin during Howard Carter’s investigation, which took place in the 1920s. He had made no try to discover the cause of death.
(iii) Carter had to chisel away the solidified resins to raise the king’s remains.
Answer:- Tut’s remains had become bonded to the bottom of the coffin and showed no signs of escape. The body could not be separated from the coffin with any amount of force, and the solid raisin could not be melted even by exposing it to the hot sun. so Howard had to chisel away the solidified resin to raise them.
(iv) Tut’s body was buried along with gilded treasures.
