(ii) Howard Carter’s investigation was resented.

Answer:- Howard Carter’s investigation was resented because he used unethical and unscientific techniques. (iii) Carter had to chisel away the solidified resins to raise the king’s remains.

Answer:-  Tut’s remains had become bonded to the bottom of the coffin and showed no signs of escape. The body could not be separated from the coffin with any amount of force, and the solid raisin could not be melted even by exposing it to the hot sun. so Howard had to chisel away the solidified resin to raise them.
