Answer:- He realises that he has lost his way when he says that he wants to ride in a merry-go-round once. He looks behind for his parents but there is no reply. His anxiety and insecurity are described in his hue and cry and the way he runs here and there in search of them.

Answer:- The lost child lose interest in the things that he had wanted earlier because he got lost in the fair. He becomes anxious for being separated from his parents. Now he wants his parents only. Nothing was more dear to him than his parents.

 

Question 5. What do you think happens in the end? Does the child find his parents?

Answer:– I think that the child found his parents in the end. The kind-hearted man must have tried his best to find the child’s parents. On the other hand the parents of the child must also have tried hard to find their child.
