As per article 53 (1), executive power are largely vested in President of India who enjoys all constitutional power and implements them directly or through sub-ordinate officers. The president however, is to act in accordance with the advice of Prime minister and Council of Ministers.
The president resides in an estate called the president House or Rashtrapati Bhavan located in Raisana hills New Delhi. The president retreat in chharabra, Shimla and Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad.
