Banking is the fastest growing Industry of an economy. Under Financial Inclusion schemes government is trying to provide banking facilities in every village and town. As its demand is increasing the need for manpower in this field is also increasing. Thus in each and every financial year thousands of vacancies are released in this field. Banking Exams Preparations is done by many candidates. Every year, different recruitment of Bank PO, Bank Clerk & Specialist Officers is conducted by RBI, SBI, RRB, IBPS, NABARD etc.
Banking Probationary officer or Bank PO is a managerial level post which salary ranges from 30,000-40,000. After completing 1-2 years of essential training the candidate gets the chance of appointed as Assistant Managers (AM) or Deputy Managers (DM).
Bank Clerk: it is the clerical or entry-level job of a bank. A clerk’s salary ranges from 20,000-25,000 depend upon bank to bank and location of posting.
Bank Specialist Officers or Banking So– Bank Specialist Officers or Banking So– IT Officer, HR Officer, Marketing Officer, Finance Officer, Law Officer, Agriculture Officer, etc are counts as Specialist Officer of a Bank. Banks hire them for their special and expert knowledge and experience.
How to do Banking Exams Preparations
Recruitment in Bank specially in Government sector banks is done in Three stages.
The first level is called Pre-level, it is a computer-based multiple-choice question-based exam divided into 3 parts – Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English.
The second level is called Mains level it is also a computer-based exam divided into four sections General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. In the Clerical level exam, there is no separate paper of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) is held.
But in Banking PO exams an additional paper of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) will also be there and there will be 02 questions in it. Questions will be of 25 marks and half an hour / 30 minutes will be given to complete the examination.
The Third and the final level or stage is Interview or One can say personality test. In this stage only those candidates appear who have cleared previous two stages i.e Pre and Mains.
Selection of a candidate will be depend upon Mains and interview only. 80% from mains and 20% from interview will be consider while preparing final list of selected candidates.
